Health Tip

Drugs may interact, leading to unwanted side effects.

When you are taking a number of drugs to treat a variety of health conditions, be careful. Even over-the-counter medication can have side effects, and when mixed with prescription drugs or alcohol can be harmful. As a patient you need to be clear about why a medication is prescribed, how much you should take, when you should take it and whether there are possible side effects or interactions with other drugs or food. Talk to your doctor and pharmacist.
