Health Tip

Keep poisons away from children!

Children under the age of 5 are more vulnerable to accidental poisoning. Store harmful substances like household cleaners, alcohol, vitamins and medicines in their original containers. Remember to replace childproof caps properly so little fingers can't pry them open. Use a locking cabinet in the kitchen, the laundry room, and the bathroom to safely store all hazardous substances. Keep pills out of purses, pockets or bags, which children love to rummage through. If you haven't already done so, ask your pediatrician or family doctor what you should do in the event of an emergency.
