Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Skipping breakfast can lead to midmorning hunger and snacking that piles on the pounds. It can also lead to poorer work performance as the brain struggles to stay alert and focused. A good breakfast refuels the body after a night's sleep, meets some of the nutritional requirements of the Canada Food Guide and is quick and easy to prepare and eat. A smoothie-combining fresh or frozen fruit, yogurt and milk in whatever combination you find tasty-fits the bill!
