Health Tip

Mothers have been offering chicken soup to cold suffers for centuries.

Sipping hot chicken soup may indeed help clear up clogged nasal passages. By inhibiting the migration of the cells which produce inflammation in sinus passages, chicken soup may in fact reduce the symptoms of a stuffy nose from a cold. So, in addition to drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day, consider adding chicken soup to your diet when a cold strikes.
