Health Tip

Giving blood is safe and easy, and it saves lives.

Before donating, potential donors are screened in a confidential setting to determine if they may safely donate blood as well as whether their donated blood would be safe for a patient to receive. Generally, anyone who is in good health, is at least 17 years old and weighs at least 110 pounds may donate blood every 56 days.
